FAMILIES Project

Fostering Acceptance, Mutual Inclusion, Love, and Identity for Every Spectrum

The FAMILIES Project aims to create a safe and understanding space where family members can explore and embrace their loved ones’ unique identities with acceptance and love.

Through workshops and a shared space, FAMILIES equips family members with the knowledge and resources to foster a nurturing environment for their LGBTQ+ loved ones.

Family members enroll in an 8-week program. This course provides family members with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to support their LGBTQ+ loved ones in a positive, affirming way.

Through educational materials, interactive discussions, guest speakers, and practical exercises, family members will gain a deeper understanding of LGBTQ+ identities, learn effective communication strategies, and explore ways to create a supportive environment at home. At the end of this course, we celebrate our graduating family members with a Certificate of Completion.

Registration is now open for the next session of the FAMILIES Project, which runs from October 8 to November 19, 2026!
