A trans woman, lesbian, and the daughter of two moms, aedy miller has been in the fight for LGBTQ+ equality her entire life. For nearly as long, they have been creating media in some form or another: photos, music videos, live television productions, podcasts, social media content, news articles, and more.

She has interned twice for Garden State Equality, once in 2019 and again in 2023, before transitioning to a full-time role as the organization’s Communications Manager. Prior to rejoining Garden State Equality, aedy was a reporter covering education, labor, mental health, and the climate crisis for the USA Today Network in South Jersey. They went to college in Washington, D.C., and are proudly from the Pine Barrens.
