This Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at the New Jersey State House, 125 West State Street in Trenton, the Assembly Judiciary Committee will hold its hearing and committee vote on the marriage equality bill.  Please join us.  Arrive as early as you can to get seats in the main hearing room — all the previous hearings on marriage equality went into overflow rooms.   Seating in the main hearing room is first-come, first-served.

On Thursday, we will be there at the crack of dawn to meet you in front of the State House.

We suggest you park at the Trenton Marriott, 1 West Lafayette Street.  Please wear your EQUALITY The American Dream t-shirt if you have one.

This Thursday’s Assembly Judiciary Committee hearing is the final hearing on the bill and the second step in bill’s prospective passage.  We’ve had the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, capped by an 8 to 4 vote in favor of the marriage equality bill.  After Thursday’s Assembly Judiciary Committee hearing, in the weeks ahead the bill will go to the full Senate and the full Assembly for final floor votes.

See you Thursday morning as early as you can get there.

B’shalom, Steven
